2007 Volkswagen Passat 2.0T Wagon - Car has been owned by me since it was purchased as a 3 year old, certified-preowed from Rydel VW in Edison, NJ. It was used reliably as my wife's daily driver for many years. The engine runs great, but the transmission is in very bad condition. Overall the automobile drives well, but the transmission shifts very hard between lower gears and needs to be replaced. Also, the wiring harness in the front, driver side door is frayed, causing a side airbag warning light on the dash. The interior needs a good cleaning but is otherwise fully functional. The exterior has some dings and a couple fairly new rust spots, but not bad for its age. Its 17" Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires are in good shape.

Vehicle LocationThe vehicle is located in Quincy, Massachusetts and needs to be towed away by a Tow Truck. The Car was running great until last week (3rd of October 2018) then broke the timing belt. The mechanic checked and said the valves have been bent thus the engine wouldn't turn. We were told that we may be able to run the car again if the cylinder head was replaced as a whole set with the valves and every other part as a whole. BUT, there is a chance of damage on the pistons as well. The whole point is if you are a mechanic or if you know how to work on cars, this car might be a base for you to work on or you can use this car as a donor car. The car is still registered and insured. It has passed the inspection couple months ago. It was a daily driver without any problem until the incident. It has a pretty good shape and considering it is an eleven years old car it has pretty good condition. It has a rusty point on the driver side front fender (see pictures) It has dents on passenger side front and rear doors and also on passenger side rear fender arch (see pictures) The car has another sets of wheels without tires Everything was working on the car before the incident. 2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI SEL PREMIUM. Great car in great shape. Averages 43 mpg on the highway. Just had the 120k mile tune up. Which included oil change/filter. Fuel, air, cabin filter. Radiator flush and fill, heater core replaced. And transmission flush and fill. Also got Def fuel (AdBlue) topped off. This is my daily driver so mileage can change. Car has sunroof, all power options. Heated seats, navigation, cd player also plays dvd's. This vehicle runs and drives great. And can be driven anywhere across the U.S. $500 deposite due within 48 hours of auction ending. Remaining cost due within 5 days! I can pick you up feom airport if you are flying in. Or help with pickup if you have a shipper supplied for the vehicle.
